Good things come to those who wait! They certainly do and here they are at last!
The Winter Issue of #HelloClitheroe Magazine is now at and here are the images that were used (and some of the ones that weren't).
Thanks as always to Sarah at Write Minded Publishing and Kevin at Ken Varey's Outdoor World.
Wishing you all a very happy, #warm & #snuggly #Christmas :) x
When helloClitheroe fan Katie Bowden spotted our 'real readers' feature on Ken Varey clothing she applied to be the next cover star.
Lancashire-born Katie and boyfriend Callum Lee made the 300 mile trip from London to be photographed wearing the latest looks from Ken Varey country wear specialists.
Says Katie, who works as a PA at Goldman Sachs in London, "We loved the fact you featured everyday people wearing these gorgeous clothes.
"Although neither of us are professional models your photographer Karen immediately put us at ease."
Like others who have moved from the area, Katie keeps up with home news by reading our online version of the magazine at www.hello-clitheroe.co.uk
She adds, "While I love my job in London, it's so great to keep up with what is happening around Lancashire."
Katie and her partner Callum, who is a Business Development Consultant for Western Union Business Solutions, adds, "I really enjoyed the shoot and my time up North. Lovely people and clothing at Ken Varey. I will definitely be going back in the New Year to check out the Spring Collection."
The photographs, featuring the latest looks from Ken Varey of Clitheroe, were taken by Karen Clark of 5 Little Boys Photography.
"Katie and Callum were brilliant on the day," says Karen. "The weather was wintry to say the least - but they acted like professionals and just got on with it!"
"Our location was in Clitheroe Castle and despite the cold conditions it was great fun."
